Strategic Direction

CSA's chosen field of work is Child Welfare, with specific focus on Adoption. Our aim is to enhance the number of adoptions in the country primarily through a facilitation role. Our approach has been to identify a location through research of the prevailing position there, and then, to establish collaborative contacts with the concerned agencies. Wherever necessary and possible, we seek the assistance of the State Government to carry our initiatives through.

In Nagpur, we shall work with the participating agencies and support them in upgrading their childcare standards. We shall also, organize promotional campaigns including workshops/ sensitization programmes and outdoor hoardings, at the local levels.

Through this website, we are now making available complete information on the waiting children in the agencies. It is our hope that in addition to generating local participation, some parents from locations outside Nagpur/ Wardha will also, consider the option of adopting from those agencies, instead of waiting for prolonged periods.

The model adopted by us is both scalable and replicable. We propose to extend our participation to other locations in the country. We shall work towards establishing a virtual cycle by networking with other orphanages and Children’s Homes, so that any child in need of a home can move into the adoption stream.

CSA’s role is primarily that of a Facilitator- in providing the first level of contact and leaving it to the Aparents and the agencies to deal with each other.
The information provided here is based entirely on information provided by the participating agencies. CSA is not responsible for the authenticity of
the information provided nor, for subsequent dealings between a prospective parent and an agency. CSA’s support to the agencies (which includes
